Mackmyra Ten Years Reviews

Lovely stuff

A light and fresh whisky with a lot of very nice, subtle flavour, could easily be overpowered so I'd say drink it neat, room temp and no food to really catch all the complex and delicate flavours.

Drinkable but doesn't quite do it for me

A drinkable malt whisky but wants a little in character. My partner had a similar opinion: pleasant but not outstanding.

Thumbs up

I was really excited to try this one and was not disappointed. Fruits on the palate are gorgeous. Can't wait to see how this evolves.

A Swedish Single Malt worthy to be in your whiskey cabinet

Being Swedish I am partial ;) but is is with pride saying that we have a Swedish single malt but this whiskey has potential, not as full flavoured as others but as a ten year old it is great, give it another 5-10 years and it will evolve to something special.
Ofc, not to be compared to a 15, 18,21 year old Glendronach or a 10 year old Glenmorangie but at the price of Euro 45 as I paid for it it is very well worth is, further as only 20,000 bottles released and 12,000 on the Swedish market it is something exotic and slightly different to have in your cabinet for special occasion, fantastic in its own right with some 75% dark chocolate....
