Macduff 26yo 1991 #4583 Bottling Note

Well-Sherried Macduff single malt, independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's range. This was distilled in June 1991 and allowed to mature for 26 years in a single Sherry butt until June 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of 730 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Red wine gums, lemongrass, stewed plums and oily walnut.

Palate: Oodles of plummy richness, joined by caramel, dark coffee and thyme honey.

Finish: A long finished packed with oak and chocolate truffle notes.
