Macallan 1977 Bottling Note

This thirty-five year old Macallan joins Douglas Laing's prestigious Director's Cut range

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: An intriguing nose of fresh fruit, Scottish tablet and zesty citrus notes.

Palate: The age of this Macallan shines on the palate as it demonstrates excellent toffee, oak and spice notes that gather together in a Cognac like flavour profile.

Finish: The finish is an extension of the palate but complemented with earthy coffee notes and a haze of smoke.

Overall: This is a truly fantastic Macallan that brings age and vitality together and concludes with a protracted finish.
