Yet another extraordinarily delicious Macallan single malt independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! For batch 20 (doesn't time fly?!), the Boutique-y bunch has bottled by a brilliant 28 year old whisky from the distillery in Speyside. The giant on the label is still marvelling at Macallan's curiously small stills. How do stills so small make whisky with such a big flavour profile? It's one of life's mysteries, along with what the little plastic table thing you used to find in pizza boxes was all about and why you don't see them very much anymore.

Batch 20 is a release of 465 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral elderflower, green apple and sweet nectarine, with just a hint of honeyed and buttered toast.

Palate: Delicate and smooth, oily mouthfeel, milk chocolate and a hint of forest fruits with kitchen spices in support.

Finish: Short, full of malt and caramel notes.
