Macallan 25 Year Old 1990 - Single Cask (Master of Malt) Reviews

I got this as a gift a couple years ago and finally opened it up because my daughter is graduating from college. I've probably sampled hundreds of different whiskies over the years and this is the best I ever had. This bottle is much better than Mac 25, which currently retails for anywhere from $1,500 to 1,800. It's also tastier and more palatable than the Mac Cask Strength, which is almost impossible to find. It's so unfortunate that I cannot get a bottle of this anymore. To those of you who have a bottle, cherish it! The reviews below are spot on. Amazing bottle. MoM hit it out of the park with this one.

Sold out? Oh no!

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago and didn't have a chance to open it until this past weekend for whisky night with some fellow whisky enthusiasts. It was, to say the least, one of the very best bottles I've ever opened, and it was unanimously agreed that this was the best whisky we drank that night. Half the bottle is already gone and when I checked this site that night, there were a few bottles left. Fast forward to today...I come to buy another bottle or two to restock the shelf, and it's sold out! Nooooooo!!!!!!!

Rich, Rancio-laced, Slightly Sulphurous, and FANTASTIC

I don't normally leave reviews for things, but this inspired me to start.

The level of intensity and completely overwhelming mouth-coating opulence from this whisky are frankly insane. I've never tried anything like it.

Okay - it is £700 a bottle, and that is *a lot* of anyone's money, but hey - you can't take it with you, right?

Tastes like the heavens combined dark chocolate whisky and a little bit of sweetness and love. Full cask strength is the way to go. Best Macallan I ever had.
