A 15 year old Macallan from independent bottler Douglas Laing. Matured in a single cask, it was distilled in October 1997 before bottling, at 50% abv, in February 2013 without artificial colouring or chill filtration.
Nose: Soft, honeyed oak, vanilla and more floral notes.
Palate: Malty toffee, lemon peel, pine and cinnamon.
Finish: Caramel and oak spices on a smooth finish.
Overall: A malty Macallan single cask.
