Macallan 20 Year Old 1990 - Old and Rare Platinum (Douglas Laing)

Macallan 20 1990 Bottling Note

A tasty old Macallan this, and a great representative of the distillery's unmistakable full-bodied character.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Typically heavy nose with soft brown sugar, molasses and spice. There's cinnamon here, with nutmeg and cloves.

Palate: Waves of spice and a massive mouthfeel. The Christmas elements are confirmed on the tongue along with deep, bitter chocolate sweetness and dried fruit.

Finish: Lengthy and satisfying, the chocolate bitterness slowly eclipses the dried fruit to leave a dry finish.

Finish: A very good Macallan, that displays the distillery's typical style.
