Nose: Green at first sniff with lots of oak, apples, kiwis, lime, grapefruits, green tea, and hints of cedar box and shoe polish. More and more tannins, freshly broken limestone. This is quite wild.
Palate: Strong, very lemony and oaky, fizzy and green. Sauvignon blanc, plus a little vanilla from the oak but not that sweet.
Finish: Rather long and lemony as expected, just a tad drying.
Overall: A very interesting whisky with a dry characterful flavour.
