A blended Irish whiskey that was first made at the Locke's Distillery in Kilbeggan. This whiskey is twice distilled and it has a sweet, malty taste.
The nose is all on creamy sweet barley malt. Lots of cereals, dried fruits, a hint of oak. Classic Irish aromas.
Very supple and gentle with its creamy mouth feel of cereals, vanilla and soft oak.
Lots of barley now, long finish, sublimely smooth.
$31.87 - $56.78
A fragrant and fancy-free whiskey, with light floral and delicate fruity notes. The nose is of daffodils, honey, melon, heather, and grape. The palette contains melon and light sherry, with just a hint of raisin. The finish is smooth but short lived.. I strongly recommend this to entry-level whiskey fans. Those looking for something more complex and enduring might want to look elsewhere.
