Distilled at the Lochside distillery in Montrose in 1991 and aged for 13 years in refill bourbon barrels before bottling by Gordon and MacPhail.
There is a nose of melting salty butter, hints of eucalyptus oil and zesty citrus. Some malty toasted cereal notes and freshly baked bread. The palate is smooth and well-balanced. Some notes of beeswax and floral notes with freshly picked petals aplenty. A good sweetness creeps in from the cereal with an oily mouthfeel. The finish is of medium-length with a dryness and a fruity tang.
