Loch Lomond Reserve Reviews

Best kept secret

For the price point, it is one of the best blended scotches out there. Has a little peaty note in there as well so keep that in mind. Have bought over a dozen of bottles of this stuff. It deserves more recognition for sure

Try it!

For the price it has a unique taste. I’m not familiar with highland whiskeys, but this is smooth and nice on the pallet. I would serve this to friends. I found this at my liquor store in the States and the price is reasonable. I hope to try the original and others as soon as the come available. I will ask our new president to lift any tariffs on imported whiskeys .

The best value whisky on the market

This is THE whisky to try if you are curious, if you want to start the whisky journey, or if you are looking for a mixer better than Johnny or Grouse.

It has an initial smooth sweetness that makes it incredibly approachable, but with enough earth and sass to know you're drinking whisky.

I generally drink Laphroaig, Talisker Skye or Glen Grant single malts if enjoying neat, and with the Loch Lomond Reserve I have found a whisky that is good enough neat, and but won't pour money down the drain when adding a little dry ginger and sparkling mineral water.

I am giving this 5 stars in terms of value-for-money as you will not find a better whisky at this price.
