A Cask Strength Collection bottling of 23 year old single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, released under their Inchmurrin name. This was distilled back in May 1993 and left to age in a single hogshead cask until May 2017, when Signatory came along to bottle it up with an outturn of 254 bottles. Loch Lomond have an adaptable set-up, meaning that they can create a variety of whisky styles, which are presented under a variety of names.
Nose: Creamy, vanilla-y malt with a helping of orange and mango at the core.
Palate: Stem ginger, earthy mint leaf, another whack of vanilla-rich malt.
Finish: Caramelised fruit followed by a sprinkle of sea salt.
