An indie Inchmurrin here, aged in a hogshead for 23 years. This is a single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, which was distilled in May 1993 and bottled in October 2016 by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. 260 bottles were produced.
Nose: Brandy butter, fruity esters, sponge cake and honey.
Palate: Quite floral and sweet, though a herbaceous hint of mint sits at the centre.
Finish: Subtly earthy with roasted coffee bean notes.
