From A.D. Rattray's Cask Collection indie bottling range comes a peaty treat distilled by Loch Lomond! Released under the Croftengea name, this single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 2007 and left to age in a bourbon hogshead for 12 years. After a dozen years of slumber the whisky was bottled up in 2019, with only 145 bottles produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Apples, oranges and poached pears, plus roasted barley smokiness underneath.

Palate: Peat comes to the fore, with lots of smoke and spice. The orchard fruit freshness is still there, but subdued somewhat.

Finish: Greengages, toasted brioche and cask char.
