Littlemill 21 LotG Bottling Note

A lovely 21 year old Littlemill single malt, bottled by Lady of the Glen. While the distillery may no longer be with us (it was dismantled 1997 and burned down in 2004), independent bottlings like these let us peek into the past, into whisky's history, at some fantastic gems from sadly departed distilleries.

Taken from a single ex-bourbon barrel, which had an outturn of 320 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A complex nose of honey, barley, pears and subtle savoury notes.

Palate: The pear notes develop, with apple, lemon and grape appearing. Oak chimes in, as does the thick barley yet again.

Finish: Fresh fruit and subtle wood spice.

Overall: A cracking dram, complex and intriguing.
