Linkwood 1973 Bottling Note

This Linkwood was distilled in 1973 and was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail. The Linkwood distillery has been renovated many times but the spirit remains exceptional.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: The nose is ripe with tropical fruit especially star fruit and mango followed by a perfumed smokiness.

Palate: The palate is sweet with refreshing lemon and lime notes and a hint of nutmeg.

Finish: The finish is citrus fresh with notes of stewing apples entwined within.

Overall: A citrus focussed Linkwood with an attractive perfumed smoky aroma.
