Gardeners' Biscuit Break Bottling Note

A fab bottling of Linkwood, distilled in 2000. The Speysider was aged in a single butt cask before being bottled in 2018 by Wemyss Malts. This particular expression has been named Gardeners' Biscuit Break, a rather cryptic but perhaps accurate allusion to the flavour profile. A release of 726 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Breakfast notes take centre stage with creamy vanilla porridge, malt biscuits and fresher coconut aromas.

Palate: Off dry, with nutty almond and walnut and fresh, juicy white stone fruits, more coconut and vanilla returning on the palate and a few subtle vegetal notes.

Finish: Short and fresh with a few of those fruits returning.
