Another superb cask strength Linkwood from Adelphi, aged in cask 5266, with a much lighter hue than cask 5269. This was distilled in 1984 and aged for 26 years before bottling in 2011 with an out-turn of 113 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich, fruity nose with cooked apples, plum and dates. Malty, biscuity, with hints of oak.

Palate: Thick, malty core with toasty oak, a little coffee, caramelised sugar and toffee apples.

Finish: Long finish, trailing away on berry fruits and toast.
