Lp7 - Elements Of Islay Bottling Note

Another single malt from the Elements of Islay series - this is their seventh "Lp" whisky, from a distillery on the south coast of Islay. Plenty of floral smoke and juicy fruit notes to dig in to here.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lavender and peat smoke mingle together, backed up by BBQ'd mango and sharp green apple.

Palate: Yellow plum, chopped herbs, a bit of meaty malt followed by coastal smoke. Lavender continues, too.

Finish: Sea salt flakes and toffee pennies.

Lp7 - Elements Of Islay (Laphroaig) Reviews

Elegance personified

What a dram !!! Subtle sweetness. Floral
sweetness. Phenolic Laphroaig. Coastal flavour on the palate finish. Could have been less thin but brilliant dram. Meat, salt, dry sweetness but only just bqcked by the cask strength. Very very good.
