Laphroaig 14yo #18209 Bottling Note

Fabulous sherried 14 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, which has been independently bottled as part of the First Edition range by Hunter Laing. This expression was distilled in 2006 and drawn from a single sherry butt in 2021, with an outturn of 293 bottles, at a hefty cask strength of 58.8% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Classic Laphroaig medicinal notes, slightly herbal with rich sherried fruits.

Palate: Smoky, oily peat and iodine with a gently herbal undertone. Rich notes of sweet dark raisins, figs, and dates.

Finish: Further intense peat alongside sweet, tannic oak and lingering, warming spice.
