A Douglas Laing bottling of 10 year old single malt from the legendary Laphroaig distillery on the Isle of Islay. This was matured in a single refill hogshead from November 2005 to August 2016, when it was bottled at 46% ABV for the Douglas Laing Provenance range. 403 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Heavy smoke, with medicinal notes hiding within alongside a touch of incense. Ginger and fresh pear too.

Palate: Smouldering oak, continuing orchard fruit sweetness giving balance. Subtle saline elements.

Finish: Salty sea air lasts. Orange peels.
