Kilchoman Port Cask Matured 2018 Release

Kilchoman Port Cask 2018 Bottling Note

The second release of Port-cask-matured single malt from Kilchoman, with the first release hitting shelves back in 2014 (and swiftly leaving said shelves - it was a very popular expression!). This Islay single malt has been fully matured in Port casks, and bottled at 50% ABV, resulting in full-bodied flavour profile. 10,000 bottles were released.

Awesome

This is a masterpiece, the intensity of the port maturation is just as intense as the peat. An explosion of flavours, all of them working together.

Ker-Ching !

£85 for a 4 year old. Or perhaps 3 and a bit depending on the month it was distilled.

Yeah right.
