Another exquisite addition to Signatory's Cask Strength Collection – it's a 29 year old Jura single malt! Distilled in May 1992, the whisky spent its time maturing in a single Bourbon cask until bottling in May 2021 at 52.2% ABV. A total of 123 bottles was drawn from this cask.
Nose: Roasted nuts, cinder toffee, gentle whiffs of drying fruit, and earthy tobacco.
Palate: Toasted oak and bold malt at the fore, with wafts of woody vanilla and honeyed granola.
Finish: Apple crumble, nutty cereal, and poached pears with chocolate sauce.
