Joseph Finch 15 Year Old 1981

Joseph Finch 15yo 1981 Bottling Note

A very rare bottle of Joseph Finch 15 Year Old bourbon. This was released back in the 1990s by United Distillers (who would eventually become Diageo) as part of the Rare Bourbons Collection (alongside the Henry Clay 16 Year Old bourbon). It was named after Joseph Finch, but not distilled by the actual Joseph Finch distillery - which became part of the Schenley plant around the time of Prohibition. The whiskey came from an undisclosed distillery and was bottled after 15 years of maturation. This release and the Henry Clay were the only bottlings from the Rare Bourbons Collection, and not many bottles were produced. Highly sought after by collectors.

This bottle was part of a private collection (as was the bottle turned into 3cl samples by Drinks by the Dram).
