Paul John Single Cask Indian Whisky (cask P1-163)

Paul John Cask P1-163 Bottling Note

Single cask release of Indian single malt whisky from John Distilleries, made with unpeated barley and matured in bourbon barrels in Goa. Afterwards, it was bottled, with no chill-filtering or colouring, at cask strength - a sturdy 57% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Thick, juicy barley and vanilla-rich bourbon. A waft of sea-salt and brown sugar comes in from the coast.

Palate: Oily and mouth-coating with yet more gorgeous malt and molasses.

Finish: Chocolate and oak last on the finish.

Overall: Bold and brilliant, especially if like you your whisky packed with yummy barely notes.
