It will come as no surprise that the temperature and humidity experienced by casks of maturing whisky are rather different in India than in Scotland! The alcohol lost to evaporation is known as the angels' share and is much, much greater in India (making lengthy maturations impracticable, although greater interaction can take place in a shorter time). This Boutique-y label shows some of those thirsty angels queuing up for their share of this Paul John! Batch 2 not only features an age statement, but also some more familiar faces alongside the Chairman Paul John himself, who featured on Batch 1. This time Master Distiller Michael John D'Souza is included too, alongside the company's President of Sales and Marketing, and Head of Exports.
Batch 2 is a release of 173 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
