Drawn from virgin oak and sherry casks, this expression offers up plenty of dried fruit and toffee notes, with a helping of vibrant spice to back up the sweetness. Ought to be good for enjoying neat or in cocktails.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Peanut brittle, white pepper, raisins and a touch of spiced hot chocolate.

Palate Toffee, apple, oak spiciness with rounded sultana to mellow the warmth.

Finish Apricot, peach and runny honey.

Best Irish Whiskey I have tasted.
The sherry oak casks make it so much more enjoyable. Ive never had it in that cask before and i was plesantly surprised. Smooth on the palate

very poor whisky - very poor taste
Weak taste, poor whisky. If you like single grain i.e. Haig then this is what you're buying basically, last time I checked a bottle of that costs £15 from Asda, wouldn't pay for this again, no chance. 0.5 star if that.
