Jack Daniel's 150th Anniversary of the Distillery

Jack Daniel's 150th Bottling Note

A celebratory bottling of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, produced in commemoration of the distillery's 150th Anniversary. Interestingly it's been bottled at 43% ABV, slightly higher than the standard Jack Daniel's.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toffee, toasted spices, oak char and crushed walnuts.

Palate: Developing cinnamon and nutmeg, with a touch of orange underneath. Still rich in caramel notes.

Finish: Dry oak spice and hints of fresh fruit.

Strong and smooth whiskey

Definitely an easy bottle to take shots of with your close friends. Didn't even make any mixed drinks with it--me and my company thought it was exceptionally better in the mouth AND finish than regular no. 7...

Jesse Gamble no. 4 is like caramel sundae at Grandma's house in a blanket on the couch. This special no. 7 is like riding shotgun on a bumpy hunting trail while you eat boiled peanuts and smoke camels. Both are great in their own way.
