Jura 16 Year Old 2002 (cask 95181) - Dun Bheagan (Ian Macleod)

Jura 16yo Dun Bheagan Bottling Note

Tasty single malt distilled by the Jura Distillery in October 2002. It was then aged for 16 years, and was even treated to a finish in a single white wine cask. Finally, it was bottled in 2019 by Ian Macleod at cask strength, 56.1% ABV, with only 255 limited bottles released for the Dun Bheagan series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral malt, with creamy vanilla and caramel, with a winey sweetness peeking through.

Palate: Nectarine, juicy grape and peach, with dry oak, nutmeg and clove.

Finish: Lychee, baking spices and a burst of white grape on the finish.
