A 1992 vintage from the Isle of Jura distillery, aged in refill sherry hogsheads and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.
The nose is fragrant and rich. Nots of maple syrup and honeycomb, a touch of buttery toffee and salty pastry. There are some hints of herbal notes, heather and zest. The palate is rich and thick. The cereal notes proliferate the mouth without flinching for a moment, the barley is rich and juicy with beautiful sweetness as a soft oak creeps in. The finish is of good length with crisp cereals and buttery vanilla cream.

Color: Golden, light straw. Nose: Very slight peat, some fried fruit & citrus. Opens to a grassy aroma with water. Palate: Soft mouth feel. Grassy, slight peat and citrus. Finish: Vanilla and spice on the fade. This is an enjoyable whisky. The very slight peat is nicely offset by the citrus and vanilla notes.
