Islay Mist 12
A 12 year old blended whisky, based on peaty Islay malts. Jim Murray even awarded it 90 points in his Whisky Bible!
Nose: Thick, biscuity, herbal. Heather root and spice, a touch of pine resin builds.
Palate: Medium body, sweet. Fudge, toffee and barley. There is a faint whisper of peat smoke.
Finish: Punchy with notes of winter spice and toffee.
I really enjoyed this blend
A must try!
I had no expectations, no prejudice. Just bought a bottle of this fine blend, shared it with friends and what a nice surprise it was. Worth to try.

Absolutely wonderful, especially for the price. It drinks like a single malt and really represents the region. Not as aggressive as Laphroaig so can be appreciate by those who prefer a more rounded sweet Scotch.

Very smooth, with initial sweet rich taste and feel in the mouth! The Islay aftertaste then kicks in, with peat overtones and a hint of the sea. Cant go wrong at this price even for a blend!
