Islay Single Malt - As We Get It (Ian Macleod) (58.9%) Reviews

Barter for bricks or safe passage

I am having the last one. I traded a bottle for a gross of prime London bricks during last year’s siege and the recipient was delighted. It’s truly excellent and come the next apocalypse will no doubt be highly valuable. One of these and some paper cups will get you straight past the check points and into a truckload of sprouts headed for Calais and freedom. Triffids, Russkies, Quanons, all find it irresistible.

I always have a bottle of this tucked away in the cupboard

This is extreme peat and cask strength, the very last whisky at the end of the night . Powerful almost overwhelming, but sometimes it is just what you need.

Good sampling of a single cask

Great. Surely a caol ila. Maritime plenty of smoke and peat. Strength is not overpowering.

Good stuff.

I like this. It reminds me of an Indy 14 year old Laphraoig I had recently, like a younger cousin. It’s good stuff. Do not regret the purchase.
