Highland Park - Batch 3 Bottling Note

This right here is the third batch of Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Guess who's back with a brand new pair of bloomers to chuck up a tree? That's right, Charlemange has returned to pop some clothes up in the trees of the woods of Overasselt for good luck, and he's brought the whole Maltstock 2012 crew again! Also, that cheeky little balloon is still chilling out in the corner...

This is a release of 27 bottles.

"what do you know? ...Deft peat, heather-honey... and spice. It has to be..."

- Jim Murray (94 Points)

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, bourbons, blended malts and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Raspberries dipped in honey, clotted cream and buttered toasted. This is swiftly joined by bundles of warming, exciting smoke.

Palate: Wonderfully juicy up front with fresh orchard fruits. This is backed up again by smoke, though complimented by floral touches too. Good helpings of spice on the mid palate.

Finish: Goes on so very, very long.

Overall: Rather different to previous Highland Park bottlings from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, but incredible never-the-less.
