Distilled at Highland Park in 1995, and aged in bourbon barrels before a finish in Château Lafite casks. This was bottled for Murray McDavid at the Bruichladdich distillery in 2009. A release of 1,900 bottles.
Nose: Sweet and spicy, quite dry with hints of ginger, espresso and pepper. Toffee brittle.
Palate: Cherries, raspberries, cocoa, coffee, honey, granary toast.
Finish: Fruity, spicy, slightly tannic.
