A release of just 325 bottles of 13 year old Highland Park, distilled in September 1996 and bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Malt Cask range in January 2010.
Nose: Very good balance. Malt, thick and sweet with hints of toffee, crisp fruit.
Palate: Very malty, youthful intensity, lots of character. Butterscotch, slightly coastal, drying.
Finish: Creamy, spicy character, hints of peppery smoke.
