Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select Reviews

Initially impressive, overall disappointing

loves this when I first opened, unfortunately been disappointed ever since

I can't tell if my palate has changed or if I was simply nieve initially but for this price I would expect much more

Not bad, not great, simply ok

The Best Blended Whisky

What can I say?... But has anyone try both the Travel Retailer & the normal One, they're different in taste, It's feel like the normal One are better than the Travel Retailer One, didn't know why, I & among friends all agree to it

Sweet Smooth

I purchased a bottle from Diamonds Princess in Singapore last day of the cruise. Tastes exactly like TX whiskey
@55 a bottle. Too sweet. I like Canadian Club small batch 12 year.

Both Thumbs up to Hibiki

Have tried Macallan's, Johnnie Walkers, Glenfiddich's... they are all good.
But, this one is absolute class whiskey, yum.

Great and maybe best bale for money even if compared to overpriced yamazaki

A bit expensive

Delicious. A bit too sweet.

Expensive for what it is

Not worth the price. Sweetness overrules. I got some metallic taste as well, probably from use of younger whiskies. Overall it’s just nothing special.

Great "newbie" whisky

Bought a bottle on a trip with some friends, and the smooth, slightly sweet taste fits perfectly for me, as I am very new to whisky, and it is the first bottle I've picked up for myself. Can definitely recommend it to anyone that is not too fond of smoke, and/or unsure where to start.

Plain and ordinary whisky

Bought a bottle at Changi. Drank it over 6 months. Initially not too bad, however it got painful to drink this whisky. It is just an ordinary whisky. Other single malts costing less than this are far better value.
Definitely not buying any more of the Suntory "drop down mixes"
Its a shame because the Yamazaki Single Malt 12 Year old is a smashing whisky

Outstanding & surprisingly sophisticated blend

Picked up a bottle after being offered a taste at Otopeni airport (Bucharest, RO).
The well balanced, delicate flavour combinations along with a very smooth finish were an absolute revelation to me, as I was only accustomed to Scottish and American brands.
I didn't hesitate to make the purchase at about 70eu, which I think was a steal for this kind of quality.
Highly recommended if you haven't tried Japanese whisky before!
