Heaven's Door Bourbon

The Heaven's Door range of whiskey have been created by Bob Dylan (yes, actual Bob Dylan, the legendary songwriter) and Marc Bushala (founder of Angel's Envy Bourbon), made in a church in Tennessee. This expression is made with a mash bill featuring 30% "small grains", and the spirit is allowed to age for at least 8 years in American oak barrels. The bottle features a design from Dylan's own wrought ironwork, and the name is of course a reference to his song 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door'.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Reviews for Heaven's Door Tennessee Bourbon
Finely crafted Bourbon as you'd expect from Bob Dylan
This was my second bottle of Bob Dylan's Bourbon and I'm enjoying it just as much as the first. It's well crafted with lots of character and subtle flavours. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Amongst the best bourbons I have ever tasted in the price range. In a splendid bottle sporting a logo which is an image of an iron gate Bob Dylan welded up from scrap in his studio.

Nice stuff
I thought it was a very nice easy drinking whiskey with a very good finish. It tasted like a good bourbon and well worth the money

Spend your money elsewhere
If this whiskey cost £20, it would be the experience I expected: Rough, very peppery, followed by heartburn. For this price tag you can get a much better bourbon experience elsewhere.

Excellent bourbon
TBH I bought this as I'm a big Dylan fan and to celebrate his 'Rough and Rowdy' album. My brother was over for the music and a few drinks. Was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of this bourbon - thought the price may have been related to the celebrity connection. It's not...well worth the money. Neat or mixed it's superb. We finished the bottle in an evening.

Very nice but pricey
I think master of malt tasting notes are the best representation of the Whisky. I like this alot but not for the price, four roses small batch is as good if not better and for much less.
