Nose A smouldering, smoky nose with toffee apples, rancio, Armagnac, ginger and nutmeg.
Palate A rich, sherried palate with wood smoke, linseed, rhubarb and custard sweets, raspberries and walnut. A hint of spearmint develops.
Finish A long, herbal, nutty finish with bittersweet oak on the tail.
