Haig Dimple 70 Proof 75cl
Incredibly rare blended whisky from one of Scotland's oldest brands! This whisky is at 70 UK proof (the old method of measuring the alcoholic content of a spirit which was stopped in 1980 - 70 proof is roughly equal to 40% abv. The bottle contains 26 2/3 fluid ounces of whisky, roughly equal to 75 cl!
My whisky does not taste the same
In Scotland my whisky was drunk neat. 70% proof. I understand that whisky exports were normally overproof as the Americans used to water it down with mixers. Here in Australia my whisky seems to have changed. Is it overproof?
