A magnum of blended whisky from William Grant & Sons. Grant's blend is fruity and rich. It was awarded a silver medal at the 2007 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
The nose is quite soft and light. There are notes of malted barley and toasted cereals with the requisite sweetness. The palate is of good body and quite sweet. There are notes of toffee and caramel with vanilla fudge and a touch of gentle, supple oak. The finish is of medium-length.
Drink straight it’s not bad No fancy adjectives to describe it
Catches the throat if unwary
I like it! Mixes well and has enough about it to be quite drinkable with a drop of water.
It tastes like Scotch that's been watered down. Approachable, but bland.
As far as your lower priced whiskey goes this one is a little better than most.
