Glenrothes 23 YO 1990
Hunter Laing, Stewart Laing's new company after he and his brother split Douglas Laing's assets between them, have released their first Old & Rare bottlings. It as label that has always been reserved for whiskies they felt deserved extra recognition for being utterly superb. With this Glenrothes 23 Year Old, distilled in June 1990 and bottled in June 2013, we couldn't agree more.
246 bottles were produced from a single Sherry hogshead.

Yes, this came from a sherry hogshead indeed. We forgot to add that in our bottling note, but have now corrected it, thank you very much! --The Chaps at Master of Malt
