Glenrothes 14yo #13132 Bottling Note

A fabulously sherried Glenrothes, distilled in February 2005 and then left to age in a single sherry butt for the next 14 years. In April 2019, the Speysider was bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular series, with 476 bottles released at 48.4% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Freshly toasted malt loaf with loads of butter and dried fruit, alongside raisin cookies just from the oven.

Palate: Candied ginger covered in dark chocolate, cinnamon swirls sprinkled with brown sugar and fruitcake.

Finish: Tobacco leaf supported by thick treacle, raisin, toasty oak and spice.
