Glenrothes 10 Year Old 2009 (cask 13332) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

Glenrothes 10yo #13332 Bottling Note

A Provenance bottling of Glenrothes single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. This one matured in a single hogshead cask for 10 years, from May 2009 to May 2019, and was then bottled with an outturn of 455 bottles. They've got a rather lively-looking salmon on these bottles, too, which is wonderful.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla forward, followed by slightly earthy barley and a touch of orange.

Palate: Gingerbread, oily malt, hints of forest floor richness.

Finish: Vanilla once again in control, supported by apricot and lychee.
