A woefully discontinued whisky from Glenmorangie, this 15 year old was described as top critic Serge Valentin as being "very, very good". It really is you know!
Nose: Buttery and salty with notes of digestive biscuit, oak, hazelnut, spices and honeycomb.
Palate: As creamy and thick a Glenmorangie as you could ever want! Deep and rich with notes of sweet spicy and toasted nuts. Hints of cut herbs, with thick vanilla, charcoal, as well as date and walnut cake. More than a suggestion of ripe peach too.
Finish: Long finish with notes of caramel, toffee and spice.

I still got 2 bottles at home and every time I drink them I'm only thinking why they don't make them anymore.

opened one after having it in the collection and it is just a great as everyone says! Glad I have another bottle because this one is going fast. Very buttery with a great long finish. If you can get your hands on a bottle get it!! Or three!!!

If you get the option to get one, do it! Great taste, very fruity and nice spices.

...and thus discontinued. This malt offers many things that much more rare and exclusive whisky contains: Beautiful fruits, honey, treacle, madeira cake, baking spices. Frankly, it tastes decadent.
