Glenlivet 13 Year Old 1996 - Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing) Reviews

Close to perfect for lovers of sherry cask aged whisky

Macallan 12 is my everyday dram; Glendronach 15 & Ballvanie Portwood 21 are my "treat yourself today" choices. If these are whiskies that you enjoy as well, do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle of this Glenlivet 13. Bottled at 50% abv, it opens up beautifully with a bit of water, though ice kills it. Wonderful aromas, flavors and mouthfeel as described on the box & bottle itself.
