Released in 2000 to commemorate the turn of the millennium. This is cask strength single malt from the Glengoyne distillery, packaged in a grandfather clock.
Nose: Roasted coffee beans, heaps of dried fruit and mincemeat.
Palate: Huge body and very rich with raisins, espresso and demerara sugar.
Finish: Christmas cake and bitter coffee.
Overall: This is classic Glengoyne; big rich and sherried. Absolutely stunning stuff.
