Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Slightly herbal, big bourbon influence which has brought a wonderful "high note". White milk bottle sweets, more creamy than fruity.

Palate: Barley rich, more bourbon influence. Clean and dry.

Finish: Long, barley rich, touch of hoi sin.

Glengoyne 10 Year Old Reviews

Top notch and economical.

Sick as a dog, drank tea after tea with cbd and said the hell with it, let's try a new whiskey and shake this flue once and for all. After a few sips I started to exit that hell like feeling of misery. Amazing taste profile, like sweet apple jelly in the belly with some butterscotch /toffee finish. Something magical about aged single malts, relieves my worst agonies. Last time I had hives and one glass of Glenfiddich 15 and they were gone.

Good stuff great [email protected]

I love it Cape town it's the perfect summer whisky. Light soft a bit unctuous too. The 12 however is just superb

very nice, good quality dram

Fresh floral, malty, apples and some nuttiness. quite well balanced with a little sweetness finishing in a shortish malty and spicy finish. very nice for age and price.

Decent, but nothing special

This was one of the first single malts I purchased when I began my scotch journey. It was decent, but I quickly moved on to others I preferred. It really lacked the richness of something like Aberfeldy. I wouldn't pass it up if it was offered, but have no plans to purchase again.

I enjoyed this whisky ... I like trying different whiskies and its one of the better I've tried of late . For around the same price however I still prefer Glenfiddich and Chivas Regal ...

One of my favourites

This is a surprisingly good whisky, such an easy drinker. A great introduction to Glengoyne.

Yummy Scotch.

If this wasn't alcoholic, I could drink it all day.

Fruity, creamy with a longish almost aquatic finish. It has something of Tobermory 10 in it like brussel sprouts, but in this case, very well done.

It very moreish. Highly recommend.

Butterscotch yummyness

Amazing dense butterscotch on the nose. Grass. Nougat and candied fruit on the palate with hay and minerality. Finish has a seaweed note — sounds bad but it’s really pleasant. This is eminently delicious.

Solid entry level

Bought this and the 12 yo after visiting the distillery. The 10 seems a bit immature to me but still an excellent malt. Citrus, honeyed malt and spice. Actually quite hot. The 12 is splendid but on opening has a cabbage note just like the 18 but it soon disappears. 12 yo is 5/5 as is the 18. Both smoother and richer than the 10. An amazing distillery!

Happy Time

A good whiskey to enjoy with friends and family. Love the taste and it's very smooth and aromatic. One of the finest in this range. I must say 1 time every one should try it.
