Glenfiddich 25 Year Old - Rare Oak

Glenfiddich 25YO Rare Oak Bottling Note

The Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak was originally released for the Travel Retail market. It's drawn from a mixture of Spanish Sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, complex flavour profile. Lively Sherried spice and juicy raisin notes blend well with the chewy vanilla touches - a classic combination, and with good reason.

Glenfiddich 25 Year Old - Rare Oak Reviews

It's a home run, a little more and it could have been out off the park

Nose: An Irish nose, wonderfully delicate.

Palate: Viscous glorious mouthfeel...again I can't believe it's not Irish. Light, lemony and spicy.

After: Step we gaily, on we go. It's a step in step with the palate...creamy lemons. Wonderful stuff.

Tasted one bottle saving the other. Rich, smooth and worth every penny! If you can afford to - get one and share it with ones you love and who have a real appreciation for fine malts.
