Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dense sherry, rum-soaked raisin, dark chocolate and those yummy herbaceous mint notes the appear in old Glenfarclas.

Palate: More sherry! More chocolate! Mature oak and Christmas cake.

Finish: Freshly ground coffee, jammy fruit, clean malt and clove.

Whisky Show 2017, Budapest - Glenfarclas-tasting surprise!

On 13-14.10.2017, Budapest held its 8th Whisky Show where I had the opportunity to participate in a tasting where the surprise 'guest' was this great whisky from '87 and it was a great pleasure to have a drop from this manna! Highly recommended for sherry cask-fans, for those who love deep and rich tastes and searching for the cask-strength's 'boom'-feeling.
