The nose is quite fresh with medium-body. There are notes of apple blossom with rubbed petals and cut hay. There are notes of barley sugar and sweet cereals, dried porridge oats with honey. The palate is of good body with a richness. There are notes of malty barley and manuka honey, a touch of oak with a gentle, subdued smoke. There are notes of cut herbs and more apple blossom with a touch of apple peel. The finish is quite long and dry with a touch of heather.
